Department of Electrical Engineering is well known for the rigor in teaching and providing a platform for basic research. The BTech program of the department is NBA accredited under Tier-I category. It is ranked high on the priority list of engineering aspirants. Well-qualified and experienced faculty, well?developed laboratories with latest tools and software and meritorious students provide a culture to learn and grow.

The Department follows the philosophy of imparting quality education through rigorous teaching-learning, hands-on expertise and curricular and co-curricular activities. It helps in building an all-round personality of students. The Department specialises in the areas of Power Electronics and Power Quality, Electrical Machines and Electrical Power Systems.
