Electrical Engineering Students’ Association (EESA) conducts various events and workshops every year including its event, VIDYUT ADHBHUTAM. This year brings the coveted event with the theme – “TechNEWlogy” on 1st and 2nd September, 2023. A two-day event, full of innovation and enthusiasm aimed at providing an opportunity for aspiring electrical engineers to delve into hands-on experiences, insightful discussions, and emerging industry trends. The event was organised for the students of Electrical Engineering Department and had a total participation of 150+ students in the various events that took place.
VIDYUT ADHBHUTAM 2023, commenced with the lighting of the lamp in the inauguration ceremony by the dignitaries – Chief Guest of the event, Mrs. Rajal H. Patel (Director of Altenmo Technologies, Ahmedabad and Dharmajyot Engineers, Ahmedabad), Dr R N Patel (Director, Institute of Technology, Nirma University), Dr S C Vora (Head, Department of Electrical Engineering), Prof Chintan Mehta (Faculty Advisor of EESA) and Ms. Harman Kaur (Vice President of EESA).
VIDYUT ADBHUTAM 2023 was packed with 6 events – Intern-view, Ideafy, Trade Horizon, Ampere Turns, Old School Games and Ki-Cad Workshop. Intern-view was a mock placement event, wherein the participants were given exposure to industry placement procedures. Ideafy was a 2-day hackathon event which enabled the students to solve real world problem statements. Trade Horizon was a virtual trading simulation event which replicated the real stock market. Ampere Turns was a transformer modelling workshop wherein the participants prepared transformer prototype models. Ki-Cad workshop gave the participants an exposure to PCB designing. Old School Games brought the joy of millennial street games to the GenZs.
