On 1st and 2nd March 2024, Electrical Engineering Students’ Association (EESA) conducted the 9th edition of its flagship event SCINTILLA with the theme – “Electroverse: Bridging Tech and Beyond”. A two-day event, full of innovation and enthusiasm was packed with various technical and non-technical events. The exciting list of events included – Camo Tech, Unfiltered, VFD, Ring Toss, Robo Rhythm, Watt Knot, Volt Voyage, Wordict and Explore X.
The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony by dignitaries, followed by Dr. C.R. Mehta (Faculty advisor, EESA) introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. A.J. Chavda (Chief Engineer, GETCO) and Guest of Honor, Mr. Kumarpal M. Desai (Founder and chairperson, Omega Elevators). Dr. S.C. Vora (Head, Department of Electrical Engineering) outlined the event’s agenda, emphasizing its theme. Both guests delivered speeches highlighting innovation in electrical engineering for a sustainable future. The event also featured a dynamic talk show with experts including Mr. Shivrajsinh Tomar (Cp-founder, Motion Automotive), Mr. Zeel Patel (Spiritual Guru) and Mr. Abhishek Kar (Finance Guru), discussing Startups, Spirituality, and Finance, respectively.
Entrepreneur Mr. Shivraj Singh Tomer provided valuable startup insights, aiding budding entrepreneurs in navigating the complex business landscape. Swaryogi Mr. Zeel Patel highlighted the essence of spirituality’s daily significance and the transformative power of karma. Financial expert Mr. Abhishek Kar shared astute financial management insights, advocating four crucial rules for sustainable growth. His guidance offered students a roadmap to secure and enhance their financial well-being.
Further on second day, the workshops, focusing on Power System Protection by Mr. V.K. Shah (Vice President, R&D, ABB India Ltd.) and Transformer Restoring by Mr. Chintan Akbari (Alumni & Entrepreneur) provided attendees with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge in the respective domains.
