It was a privilege to host Prof. Akshay Kumar Rathore (Professor & Area Director, Power & Energy Systems at NUS Singapore), a global authority in Power Electronics and Motor Drive Control, at Institute of Technology, Nirma University on August 1st, 2025.
Prof. Rathore delivered two insightful and engaging sessions:
“Classification and Power Electronics of EV Charging Systems” for BTech second and third-year students, and
“Characteristics and Power Electronics Design Requirements of Battery Electric and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles” for final-year BTech students.
In addition to the technical sessions, his valuable guidance on leveraging IEEE platforms for global career development deeply inspired the students, encouraging them to explore international opportunities and broaden their academic and professional perspectives.
