As part of the experiential learning and industry-oriented education initiatives of the Department of Electrical Engineering, industrial visits were organized for the students of B.Tech. Electrical Engineering, Semester III (Divisions A, B, and D) to the Gandhinagar Thermal Power Station, Gandhinagar, on 19th, 20th, and 27th August 2026.
The industrial visit was organized with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to the operation and functioning of a thermal power generation station and enabling them to relate the concepts studied in their academic courses to real-world power-system applications.
